A registered female construction worker who becomes a mother is eligible to receive support that encompasses both early childhood education and nutritional assistance for her child. This support extends for a period of three years, starting from the child's date of birth. The primary aim is to assist women working in the construction industry in providing their children with early education and adequate nutrition during the critical early stages of development. Specifically, a total of Rs. 6000/- (equivalent to 500 rupees per month) will be provided to the registered female construction worker.
What are the eligibility criteria for accessing benefits from Thayi Magu Sahaya Hastha scheme?
- All registered female construction workers are eligible for the Thayi Magu Sahaya Hastha scheme and can submit their applications through the Board's software.
- Each registered female construction worker can avail of this facility twice, specifically for the birth of their first two children.
- This program is designed to provide support to women workers for the welfare of their children, with certain limitations on the number of times it can be accessed.
- Every application shall be accompanied by Birth Certificate of the Child obtained from the Registrar of Birth and Deaths
